Features:
APPLICATIONS OF PLATES:
- Hot-rolled plates are further annealed to obtain good mechanical properties like toughness & ductility.
- Plates with No. 1 finish as per ASTM A480/A480M can be produced after shot blasting (Mechanical removal of surface oxide layer) & pickling (oxide layer is removed by chemical reaction).
APPLICATIONS OF PLATES:
- Due to the excellent ease of manufacturability, plates are used in tanks, pressure vessels, structural applications, etc.
- It also offers excellent corrosion resistance properties.
